Welcome to Contacts – Phone Dialer. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the mobile application Contacts – Phone Dialer (package name: contacts.smart.phonedialer), including any updates, premium features, and services provided through the application (collectively, the "App").
By installing, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not install or use the App.
1. Description of Services
The App serves as an integrated utility designed to manage daily communications on Android devices. Core functionalities include:
Default Phone Handler: Initiating, receiving, and managing phone calls, managing call logs, and displaying Caller ID alerts.
Default SMS Handler: Sending, receiving, and organizing SMS and MMS text messages.
Smart Contact Management: Organizing, editing, backing up, and viewing your phonebook contacts locally.
System Overlays: Displaying on-screen overlays for real-time Caller ID notifications and after-call summaries.
2. Eligibility and Device Requirements
Age Limits: You must be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum legal age in your country) to use this App.
System Capabilities: To function as intended, the App requires your explicit permission to act as the device's Default Phone App and Default SMS App. Revoking these system roles or associated core permissions (Contacts, Call Logs, SMS, Phone State) will restrict or completely disable the functionality of the App.
3. User Responsibilities and Acceptable Use
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes. You are strictly prohibited from using the App to:
Engage in automated or bulk messaging (spamming).
Spoof, spoof-call, or impersonate other individuals or entities via Caller ID or text messaging.
Harass, abuse, stalk, or threaten individuals.
Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any telecommunications networks or servers connected to third-party services.
4. Privacy and Data Handling
Your privacy is vital. The App processes core communication data—including your contacts, call logs, and messages—strictly on your local device.
The App interfaces with certain third-party applications (such as WhatsApp, WhatsApp Business, and Gmail) locally to offer shortcut capabilities.

5. Premium Subscriptions and In-App Purchases
Billing: The App offers a Premium (Ad-Free) version via Google Play Billing. All financial transactions are processed securely through the Google Play Store.
Cancellations and Refunds: Subscriptions or one-time purchases are managed directly through your Google Play Account settings. Refunds are handled in accordance with Google Play Store policy guidelines.
Modifications: We reserve the right to alter pricing or feature packaging for premium tiers at any time. Any changes will be communicated clearly inside the App or via the Google Play Store interface.
6. Intellectual Property
Ownership: We retain all rights, titles, and interests in and to the App, including all UI designs, source code, features, logos, graphics, and underlying technology.
License: You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to download and use the App on your personal Android device for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the App's binaries.
7. Third-Party Advertisements and Services
The free version of the App integrates third-party ad networks and mediation platforms (including AdMob, InMobi, IronSource, Vungle, Meta Audience Network, and Pangle).
We do not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for the content, products, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party advertisements displayed within the App.
Any interactions or transactions you engage in with advertisers are strictly between you and the respective third party.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
We do not warrant that the Caller ID feature will accurately identify every unknown number, nor do we guarantee that the App will remain error-free, uninterrupted, or perfectly compatible with all mobile network configurations or custom Android OS skins.
You use the App entirely at your own risk and discretion regarding local communication stability.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. This includes, without limitation, loss of communication logs, device data loss, hardware malfunction, missed emergency alerts, or any other damages arising out of your use of, or inability to use, the App.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to premium components or block use of the App entirely, without prior notice, if you violate any portion of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where the developer operates, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
12. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When updates are made, the "Effective Date" at the top of this document will change. Your continued use of the App following the posting of modifications indicates your formal acceptance of the revised Terms.
